    Core features

    1. Manuscript desk — Chapters down one side, the draft in the middle. You write every word. Markdown is the source of truth; the page is a writing surface over it.

    2. Series workspace — The series is the home for continuity. Each book desk sits inside it, so book two can see book one’s bible, plot, and timeline.

    3. Character sheets — Profile cards plus a long sheet: face, facts, appearance, voice, quotes. Open a person; don’t hunt a folder.

    4. World and lore — Places as profile tiles (look, atmosphere, region). Lore stays on the series, not locked in one manuscript.

    5. Plot grid — Plot lines as columns, beats as cards you can move and optionally link to a chapter. Planning only — no generate-chapter button.

    6. Timeline — A horizontal continuity canvas: events, book bands, plot / timeframe / character lanes. You pin what happened when; it does not invent a calendar.

    7. Ideas board — Series brainstorming as a kanban (Inbox / Exploring / Keep / Parked). Cards, not chapters.

    8. Chat on the page — Ask about a selection or the whole chapter. Suggestions are yours to accept. Nothing reaches the draft unless you say so.

    9. Book review — One full pass of the manuscript against the series bible, plus pacing and prose. Notes in the margin. Apply stays explicit.

    10. Character converse — Optional in-character chat on the sheet, grounded in the bible. Brainstorming, not a ghostwriter.

    11. Bible mentions — Names and aliases from the series are marked in the draft. Click through to the sheet without leaving the page.

    12. Autosave and revisions — Saves while you type. Snapshots on save (and autosave when the body changed). Restore without losing the live draft.

    13. Focus — Chrome steps back so the manuscript is the page. Chat stays one gesture away.

    14. Import — Bring in a zip, EPUB, PDF, or Word of your draft. Review chapters (include, rename, reorder) before a book is created. Never overwrites.

    15. Style and preview — Fonts, page, chapter openers, scene breaks. Live preview of the typeset pack, paper not a store.

    16. Export pack — Download EPUB and print-ready PDF, plus a KDP / Ingram checklist. No publish button; the upload stays yours.

    17. Cover wrap — Front, back, spine, 3D preview, and a wrap PDF sized for KDP or Ingram. Imagine can do the front; upload always works.

    18. ARC readers — One open round: snapshot, watermarked EPUB/PDF, per-reader link, feedback inbox. Your own files stay clean.

    19. Your files, always — Download a local working copy of the live draft (markdown, bible, images, About the author) on any plan, including trial, pause, or after cancel. Never held behind billing.

    20. Assistant, not a generator — Brainstorm, track characters and lore, suggest edits, run a review — when you ask. That keeps the book in KDP’s AI-assisted bucket. You do the writing.
